wa_configureInformix command

Configure the HCL Workload Automation on Amazon Web Services AMI for Informix on the master domain manager and backup domain manager, if present.

Syntax

wa_configureInformix -component [MDM|BKM]   -dbHost db_hostname  -dbPort db_port -dbName db_name -dbUser HWA_db_user -dbPwd HWA_db_password -dbSpace HWA_db_space [-dbLogSpace HWA_db_log] -dbSbSpace HWA_db_sb [-enablePartitioning] [-masterIP master_ip_address] [-remoteUser remote_sudo_user] [-password remote_sudo_user_password | -key private_ssh_key_file]

Arguments

component
The component to be configured. The following components are supported:
MDM
master domain manager
BKM
backup domain manager
dbHost
The host name or IP address of the workstation where the remote Informix database is stored.
dbPort
The Informix database port. For example: 9090
dbName
The name of the remote Informix database
dbUser
The HCL Workload Automation on Amazon Web Services user defined in the Informix database.
dbPwd
The password for the HCL Workload Automation on Amazon Web Services user defined in the Informix database.
dbSpace
The name of the table space where data must be stored.
dbLogSpace
If specified, identifies the table space where log data must be stored. Default is the dbSpace value.
dbSbSpace
The name of the table space where blob and clob data must be stored.
enablePartitioning
Specify this parameter to enable partitioning.
masterIP
The IP address of the master domain manager on the private network. Specify this parameter when configuring the backup domain manager. Do not use the public IP address.
remoteuser
The user defined on the master domain manager with sudo privileges. Specify this parameter when configuring the backup domain manager. The default user is wauser.
password
The password for the remote user with sudo privileges defined on the master domain manager. Specify this parameter when configuring the backup domain manager, if you have defined the password method for granting access to the wauser user, as described in Configuring a backup domain manager.
key
The path to the ssh private key file. Specify this parameter when configuring the backup domain manager, if you have defined the SSL key method for granting access to the wauser user, as described in Configuring a backup domain manager.
usage
Displays the usage of the command.
help
Displays the help of the command.
?
Displays the help of the command.

Comments

After the script has completed successfully, no further configuration is required.
