Encrypting SAP R/3 user passwords
When you add your entries in the options file with the Option Editor
or from the Dynamic Workload Console,
the password value is automatically encrypted before it is written
in the file. If you modify the file with a text editor, you must run
the enigma program
to encrypt the password before writing it in the file. To run the
encryption program, enter the following command:
enigma [password]You can include the password on the command line or enter it in response to a prompt. The program returns an encrypted version that you can then enter in the options file.
