PeopleSoft job tracking in HCL Workload Automation

A PeopleSoft job is a collection of processes that run together as a single unit. HCL Workload Automation jobs can be defined in one of the following ways:

• As PeopleSoft jobs, that is, as a collection of PeopleSoft processes. In this case, the status of the PeopleSoft job is tracked, not the status of the individual processes within the job.
• As PeopleSoft processes. In this case, the status of the individual process is tracked and HCL Workload Automation schedules can be defined to create complex inter-dependencies and recovery options between PeopleSoft processes.
