Locating the DB2 tools

About this task

HCL Workload Automation is supplied with a small set of tools that you use to perform the following administrative tasks for DB2®:

Run the DB2 statistics program, to maximize the performance of DB2 (dbrunstats). See Running DB2 maintenance manually for a full description of how to use the tool.
Reorganize the database (dbreorg). See Reorganizing the DB2 database for a full description of how to use the tool.

Find these tools in the following directory:

<TWA_home>/TWS/dbtools/db2/scripts

Note: The tools in this directory include some that are for the use of HCL Software Support:

dbcatalog
dbsetup

Do not run these scripts. To do so might damage or overwrite the data in your database.
