Locating the Oracle tools

About this task

HCL Workload Automation is supplied with a small set of tools that you use to perform the following administrative tasks for Oracle:

Grant the user permissions for the Dynamic Workload Console views (dbgrant). See the Dynamic Workload Console online help for full details.
Migrating from DB2® to Oracle or vice versa (prepareSQLScripts, createdb_root_ora, updateSetupCmdLine ). See Migrating data from DB2 to Oracle and vice versa for full details.

Locate these tools in the following directory:

<TWA_home>/TWS/dbtools/oracle/scripts

Note: The directory also includes some scripts that are only for the use of HCL Software Support:

dbmigrate
dbpartition
dbsetup
dbupgrade
launchdb_root_ora
_migratedb_root_ora

Do not run these scripts. To do so might damage or overwrite the data in your database.
