About this task
You can manage multiple workstation definitions.

information about the main workstation types and their attributes, see the section about workstation
definition in the HCL Workload Automation User's Guide and Reference.
To modify
a workstation definition in the database and to assign it to a domain, perform the following
steps.
Procedure
- From the navigation toolbar, click Administration > Workload Environment Design > List Workstations and
select an engine.
- Optionally, specify some filtering criteria that help you
find the workstation you want to modify. You can also customize th
workstation attribute that you want to display in the columns.
- Click Display. From the workstation
table, select a workstation click Edit to modify
its properties or choose another action form the buttons and menu
available.
- In the Workstations properties panel, specify the attributes
for the workstation you are modifying. Depending on the type of workstation
you select, some attributes are mandatory.
Note: For all the details about options and fields displayed
in the panels, see the online help by clicking the question mark located
at the top-right corner of each panel.
- To assign the workstation to an existing domain or to create
a new domain, click Assign to Domain.
- Click Save.
Results
The workstation definition is now modified in the database.
Note: You
can add workstation definitions to the database at any time, but you
must run JnextPlan -for 0000 again to be able to
run jobs on newly-created workstations. Every time you run JnextPlan all
workstations are shut down and restarted.
