Satisfying Requests for Enhancements (RFEs)
HCL Workload Automation satisfies Requests for Enhancements (RFEs).
Requests for Enhancements (RFEs) give customers the opportunity to collaborate directly with the product development team and other users. The team prioritizes and develops new product features based on proposals made by customers.
HCL Workload Automation V9.4 Fix Pack 3 delivers the following RFEs:
- RFE 89523: Modify/change job definition directly in the plan
- Edit the definition of jobs in the plan that have not yet started or, that have already run and rerun them with a different definition. See Extra opportunities for modifying job definitions already in the plan.
- RFE 102777: Warning-Troubleshooting if limit is reached
- A dedicated action to help determine why jobs that are ready to run, do not run, and how to solve the issue. See Troubleshooting stalled jobs.
- RFE 110252: Improvements for Java batch
- Restart JSR 352 Java Batch jobs from the point of failure. See Restarting JSR 352 Java Batch jobs from the point of failure.
- RFE 114673: Autorefresh for Plan Graphical View
- From the Dynamic Workload Console, an option to refresh the Plan View at regular intervals. By default, the view is refreshed every 5 minutes. The refresh interval is configurable by editing the value in the PlanViewAutorefresh section in the TdwcGlobalSettings.xml configuration file. See Auto refresh Plan View.
- RFE 114590: Submit job (SBMJOB) on IBM i dynamic agents
- A new parameter has been introduced, MessageMax Replies. See Enhancements to IBM i job monitoring and control
