Editing event rules

About this task

You can manage event rules in the database.

To modify an event rule definition in the database, perform the following steps.


  1. From the navigation toolbar, click Administration > Workload Design > Manage Event Rules .
  2. In the displayed panel, create a new task or run an existing task to retrieve a list of event rule definitions.
  3. If required, specify the engine connections to run the task.
  4. A table displays the list of event rule definitions available on the selected engine. Click a rule definition to view its properties or select it and click Edit to modify it. Alternatively, choose another action form the buttons and menu available.
  5. In the displayed panel you can modify the current rule o create a new one.
    Note: For all the details about options and fields displayed in the panels, see the online help by clicking the question mark located at the top-right corner of each panel.
  6. Click Save.


The event rule definition is now modified to the database.
