Preparing
An overview on how to install and use the Dynamic Workload Console.
To install and use the Dynamic Workload Console :
- Check the installation prerequisites in the Detailed System Requirements at https://workloadautomation.hcldoc.com/help/topic/com.hcl.wa.doc_9.4/distrDDguides.html to verify that your system is compliant.
- Choose the installation method that best suits your needs as described in the section about selecting your installation method in Planning and Installation (z/OS).
- Collect the information necessary to type in the required fields during the installation. See Installing.
- Install the Dynamic Workload Console by following the instructions provided in Installation procedure for Dynamic Workload Console.
- Log in to the Dynamic Workload Console as described in Accessing the Dynamic Workload Console.
- In the navigation tree click one of the following:
- HCL Workload Automation
- To access the HCL Workload Automation available functions
- dynamic workload broker
- To access the dynamic workload broker available functions
- To effectively manage the functions available in the Dynamic Workload Console, create engine connections to the HCL Workload Automation and dynamic workload broker environments that you want to manage. Without defining engine connections, you can use only a limited set of Dynamic Workload Console functions.
